Class Etiquette/Dress Code

Dance is an art rooted in discipline, and that begins from the moment students walk into the classroom.  It is also vital that each child feels equal to his/her peers during class.  Therefore, Kingdom’s Feet enforces a strict dress code and classroom etiquette.  Students MUST be on time for classes.  It is very important that class begins and takes place in a timely manner.

Ladies:

Keep dancewear clean and tidy at all times. Black leotards without designs or attached skirts, ballet pink-footed tights, modern footless tights. Hair is secured away from face and neck, preferably in a bun.  No ballet skirts in class, unless stated otherwise.  Ballet/jazz: pink leather soft-soled shoes.  Tap: black Mary Jane-style buckle or tie shoes.

Gentlemen:

White tee-shirt, black shorts or sweat pants, black oxford tap shoes.

For your convenience...

Kingdom’s Feet offers a full line of dancewear and supplies for students. Checks or cash only!
