A team will host a Men's Conference while the other team will begin construction on a church. The conference team will join the construction team at the end of the Men's Conference. Mexico: June 16-23 | Pick up a brochure from the Global Outreach Wall Display. Trip Focus: Multiple day VBS programs will be held at orphanages and pueblos. Each VBS will include puppets, dramas, crafts, snacks and Bible stories. The team will also participate during Sunday worship services. This is an intense work trip, and most likely visiting earthquake epicenters will not take place. The conditions are rough. Nicaragua: August 4-11 | Pick up a brochure from the Global Outreach Wall Display. Trip Focus: Two teams will serve - VBS and Medical. The VBS team will be focused on the town of Jicaro. The medical team will be based in Jicaro and serve in clinics throughout the northern region. Team Size: 15 people Age Requirements: VBS Team-Ages 16 and over or age 15 serving with a guardian on the team; Medical Team-Ages 18 and over. Team Meeting Dates: The team meetings are mandatory and will be held at Grace Covenant Church in Clanton Hall from 9-11 am unless listed otherwise. The dates are May 15, June 19, July 24, July 31 and August 22 (12:30-2:00 pm). Team Fee: $1500. The application deadline is July 12. Trip Focus: To assist in the rebuilding efforts of the Foursquare churches in Haiti. The work in Haiti is ever-changing as teams serve throughout the summer.
