Synopsis:

Imagine living your life just waiting for something to accidentally happen to you?  Unfortunately, that’s how a lot of people live their lives.  Make sure this doesn’t happen to you! 

“Living Life on Purpose” is a class that will introduce you to a different way to live, God’s way.  His way is that you would live according to His design and purpose.  He made you on purpose and for a purpose.  Isn’t that cool?  This class will help you realize how to approach life this way and to make sure that you live your life on purpose and not by accident.  This class will feature amazing teachings, interactive discussions, and challenging questions to get you to understand this stuff and live it out.  So if you are struggling to find purpose in life this is the class for you!

Seeking God’s Face…not His Hand

Who? – 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students

Synopsis:

Many times Christians look to God for what they can get from Him.  Sometimes people treat God like a big spiritual Jeannie.  That’s just wrong. 

God is much more than just someone you go to when you need stuff.  God wants you to seek Him because He wants to know you and He desires to develop a deep relationship with you.  Is that what you want?  Are you tired of living a boring Christian religion?  This class will use methods like music, interactive teaching, discussion, and prayer to get you to experience a “face 2 face” relationship with God.   If you are curious about how this can happen in your life than make this class a priority.

Dare to be a Daniel    

Who? – 9th graders only (upper classmen step off!)
When? – 9:45-10:45am beginning Sunday Sept. 6th through November 29th

Synopsis:

Have you ever played truth or dare with your friends?   Sure you have.  Most people take the dare option because it’s a lot more fun.  I know what you are thinking, “if I go to this class I’m going to end up chugging a happy meal in a blender”.  No actually it has nothing to do with this type of a dare. 

This class is about the dare for you to live out your faith like a pretty cool dude named Daniel.  I’m sure you’ve read about him in the Bible, he is a legend.  The good news is that God can use you the same way he used Daniel.  Through this class you’ll learn a lot about what made Daniel tick.  Beyond just learning cool stuff, you’ll also get challenged to really do what you are learning and see how you can make an impact in your generation.  Thousands of teens just like you have gone through this course and joined in on the D2BD experience.  If you want to see some of their testimonies go to www.daretobeadaniel.com.  You can even see a t.v. special about Darius, a kid from Grace Covenant, who had his life changed radically by D2BD.
